Happy New Year and Welcome Back! We hope that you had a festive and happy holidays.

To beat the January blues, come along to the first BUPS social of the year; Our Pub themed social! We'll have plenty of FREE FOOD AND DRINKS and in traditional English style a pub quiz but with a planning twist. It will be a great opportunity to have a catch up with everyone after the holidays, so come along! All Bartlett School of Planning Staff and Students welcome.

BUPS Annual Treasure Hunt

Thursday, 17th of November 

Join us for our annual Treasure Hunt!

We will meet in Golden Square in Soho where we will then start our evening trail. Clues will lead you through the bright streets of Mayfair, festive Carnaby Street, Piccadily Circus and the lively Soho area. It is a great opportunity to explore some of London by night. The trail will last for around 1 and a half to 2 hours (Depending on how fast you solve the clues!). The team which finishes first will win prizes.

And finally, we will end the trail with a bar tab and FREE drinks in Soho!

'Around The World' Welcome Party 2016

Tuesday, 18th of October

Join us for our annual Welcome Party!

It is a great opportunity for both staff and first, second and third year students from across the Bartlett School of Planning to get to know one another over free drinks and free food. To celebrate the diversity of UCL the theme this year is 'Around the World', so come and enjoy some varied cuisine! We will also have some games with some very good prizes up for grabs! Free food, free bar and prizes; what more could you want?

A February Social
Thursday, 25th of February

We will be hosting a social right after Reading Week so you can catch up with your friends! The party will be kickstarted with an hour's presentation by Changemakers starting at 17:30, accompanied by pizza. Once we feel bad for all that food we've eaten, we will head off to a pub to finish off our long day. 

Sign up at eventbrite because otherwise we won't know you want your pizza!

We'll be waiting for you in Central House G01 on 25th of February at 5:30 pm.

Welcome Back Social

Come along to our Welcome Back Social during the start of this term — we'll finish it off with a pub! All years and postgrads are warmly welcome. Join us for an enjoyable evening of socialising and catching up with your planning peers! 

It will take place on Thursday the 21st of January (after all of our deadlines), at 5:30 pm in LGO6 (and then pub).

The first official BUPS social event this year so make sure that you attend!

Photo Competition for students

"Stunning prizes await for the winner and the runners-up!

We would like you to submit entries to us (no more than one per person please) of photos that you have taken with a 'planning theme'. Photos of all kinds can be submitted along with a short explanation of the context and the place where the photo was taken.

Please email entries by Friday 8 March. All entries will be displayed at the BSP social evening on Tuesday 12 March and the winner(s) announced.

"During the event there will be a slide show of the People @ BSP. That is you, your colleagues, all the staff and students that are indeed what makes the Bartlett School of Planning.

Bring your PHOTOS of field trips, site visits, days out, picnics, having lunch in Gordon Square or staring at a screen in the cluster room! Bring photos of you, you and your colleagues, group photos, of us!

You can bring those in a USB to the Planning Office throughout this week - Angela or Jenny will copy them and you can have your USB back in less than 2 minutes!

26/02/13 Bartlett Construction Society boat party

On Tues 12th March 2013 The Bartlett Construction Society will be hosting their first public event in the form of a Black Tie Boat Party with award winning West End on the Thames!

In the spirit of cross-faculty merriment the invitation has been extended to all students of The Bartlett and their respective guests.

The boat will depart from Tower Millennium pier at 9pm, when guest will be taken on a tour of all the sites, history and landmarks the river has to offer. The boat boasts 3 levels with music and a bar on each. We return to Tower Millennium Pier at approximately 2am.
